None of the above

It has been a long time since I last updated this blog. As things went from bad to worse for this country I just couldn't see the point in stating the obvious about our country's corrupt political overlords.

Last night, after watching days of Comical Ali style denials, Brian Clown finally admitted that the IMF and the EU are the new sheriffs in town.

As I sat watching my telly, the screen filled by Michael "Malevolence" Noonan's fat head as he smugly celebrated the arrival of the IMF, my anger levels once again hit blog force 10.

This political parasite was taking delight from the predicament that this country finds itself in. He knows that this crisis is his ticket back to a ministry, a hefty pay hike and a big expense account. Malevolence Noonan symbolises all that is wrong with the political system in this country. This is the man who bullied a dying woman, Brigid McCole, as she fought for compensation from the state for its role in infecting her and many others with Hepatitis C.

Noonan's disgraceful behaviour during this episode demonstrates that he is every bit the scumbag politician that Brian Clown, Stupid Mary Coughlan and Betray Ahern are.

The political system in this country is rotten to the core. Scoundrels like Malevolence Noonan can bully a dying woman in the state's name and then return to the political front line thirteen years later as if nothing had happened. Most of the scumbag millionaires in Kildare Street have similar skeletons in their cupboards. A majority of the Liebore party front bench is drawn from the former Irish Workers Party - a communist party which idolised tyrants like Joseph Stalin and Erich Honecker. And it would be stating the obvious to even bother outlining the dodgy past of most of the Sinn Féin party leadership.

For too many years the political classes have treated the Irish people like fools. When a new government is formed after the inevitable election in January, Michael Malevolence Noonan will certainly be in the new cabinet. However, if the people of Ireland play their cards right he will represent a government with no moral authority. It is my hope that an overwhelming majority of the Irish electorate go to the polls. But I don't want them to vote for our poisonous political establishment. If a massive majority of people choose to "spoil" their votes we will show the scumbag millionaires that we have had enough of their sleeveen politics.

What is the alternative to Brian Clown and his fellow Fianna Fool imbeciles? Is it Malevolence Noonan and the country and western politics of Enda de road Kenny? Is it the communists and kerb crawlers in the Liebore Party? Is it the fantasy island politics of Sinn Féin?

The answer, my poor Pixie Irish, is NONE OF THE ABOVE!

Ah Ref!

You couldn't make it up if you tried! In recent days Fianna Fool have been leading the demands for the World Cup playoff with France to be replayed. Now there can be no doubt that the horse-eating, onion-wearing, diving, cheating and dishonest French got away with the sporting crime of the century on Wednesday night. However, for Fianna Fool to come out lecturing about unfairness and respect for the rules of the game is utterly sickening.

What the hell do Fianna Fool take us for? Do the likes of Brian Clown or Doormat Ahern really expect us to believe that they give a damn about our exit from the World Cup. These gobshites have spent 15 years ensuring that the poor pixie Irish will be saddled with the debts of their mates in the property development companies and the banks. They have conspired with the trade unions to donate millions to an under performing and wasteful public service. They have defrauded the tax payer by paying themselves millions more in undeserved salaries and "expenses". What gives them the right to preach about the relatively trivial matter of our exit from the World Cup?

I would love to cheer on the boys in green in South Africa next year. However, it's not a matter of life and death. Our incompetent government, on the other hand, have far more to be worrying about. What about the injustice of bailing out the banks while ordinary men and women are having their homes repossessed without any help from the state? Why not tackle the sickening inequity of a social welfare system where people who want to work and have worked all their lives are treated no differently from the idle wasters who have never and will never contribute to society? Or maybe Fianna Fool would like to invest some time in reforming a criminal justice system which prioritises do-gooder sentiments and looking after the rights of the guilty over protecting the law abiding majority of our citizens.

The petition on the Fianna Fool website mentions "..fair play...dignity and integrity..". It concludes by urging FIFA to

"...prove there is meaning behind these words and show children all over the world that in football those who cheat will not succeed."

How dare Fianna Fool lecture anyone on morality. Who are they to imply that cheating is wrong. And they certainly don't give a damn about our children. They have dedicated their careers to ensuring that our children won't have a future in an economy which has been ruined by years of incompetent and corrupt leadership. Irish politicians have made lucrative careers out of cheating, corruption and dishonesty. The 165 members of the Kildare Street Country Club are such accomplished cheats and liars that they make Sepp Blatter look like the Dalai Lama. For Fianna Fool to jump on the bandwagon and use our unfortunate exit from the World Cup as an excuse to pretend to be on the side of the people is nothing but a cynical and pathetic publicity stunt. It certainly won't prevent them getting a richly deserved red card and five year ban after the next general election!

Club Lisbon

Do these people have a track record in competence, morality, patriotism, humility, charity or sincerity?

Have their actions over their careers indicated that they give a damn about Ireland or its people?

Have they bickered and scored cheap political points while the economy goes down the swanny?

Have they failed to explain why the Lisbon Treaty is supposed to be such an obviously good piece of legislation or have they fudged matters by scaremongering and pretending that we'll be kicked out of the EU if we don't bow to their superior intellect?

Why should we trust them when they unite to command us to sign away our constitutional rights on October 2nd?

If in doubt - vote it out!

Good News, Bad News

Good News: A quarter of junior ministers are to be axed.

Bad News: There's still 166 TDs in the Dáil and 60 Senators in the Seanad living it large at the taxpayer's expense.

The average TD's "salary" (a term which I object to as it implies that they actually earn or deserve the money) is €122,000. A Senator (who is not democratically elected and serves no useful purpose) is gifted over €70,000 by the hapless Irish taxpayer every year. Add to this an exceptionally generous expenses package and ministerial pensions for previous crimes against the state and you can understand why politicians in this country haven't got the first notion what it's like to live in a recession.

So as Brian Clown, Enda de road Kenny and Eamon Gilmore Girl stand in the Dáil chamber tomorrow droning on ad nauseum about belt tightening, sacrifice and patriotism - remember that on the inside they're laughing. They are all winners in this game of politics - and we are the ball!
